Three Bear Sled Dog Races & Games
Feb 6 and 7, 2010 Three Bear Sled Dog Races and Winter games. A mid-winter weekend of professional Sled Dog Racing including a Mushers Ball on Saturday evening at the Gateway Lodge. World Class competitors from a far away as Alaska, Washington, Maine, Canada and Germany. Exciting winter activity. A great way to see the sport of dog sled racing first hand. A full weekend of fun.

Memorial Day Ceremony
Join the Land O' Lakes VFW for their Salute to Veterans at the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Oak Hill Cemetery at 11 a.m. on May 24. The Cemetary is located about 1 mile west of Land O' Lakes on the South side of Highway B. It is just a short distance beyond the Bear Trap Supper Club.

Barefoot Charlie Festival
Come to the Barefoot Charlie Festival at the Land O' Lakes Park Pavilion from Noon until 9 p.m. on July 31. There will be music Food and refreshments. Picture taking with Barefoot Charlie, a historical display of Barefoot Charlie memorabilia and more. This will be a full day of family fun including games, paddle wheel and raffles. Community Wide Garage Sale
Years worth of goodies (stuff) will be on sale at as many as 60 garage sales in the Land O' Lakes area. Grab a carload of family and friends and do your shopping in the Land O' Lakes area. Maps will be available at the Chamber office on Aug 6 after 2 p.m. and on August 7 at 8 a.m. If you would like to have a sale, stop in at the Chamber and let the staff know your location and what type of items you will be featuring. A small fee will be charged to cover printing and advertising costs.

Santa and his Mrs arrive in Land O Lakes at 1 p.m. A horse drawn wagon ride brings the Clauses and the children to the Town Tree for a lighting ceremony with singing of Christmas carols.
