"The Future of the Past" presented by Paul McLeod. Thursday, August 21 at 7 p.m. in the lower level of the Library. Check the Calendar of Events for more fun events scheduled for the balance of the summer. Land O’ Lakes, located on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula provides an excellent home for all of your vacation excursions. What is "Art Impressions?

Art Impressions is a summer event on the grounds of the Land O' Lakes Town Hall, and is sponsored by the Land O' Lakes Chamber of Commerce. It is a very fine exhibition with 60 to 80 exhibitors and a wide variety of art and hand crafted items for show and sale. It is a highlight of the summer in our area. Do not miss this great event. There will be food and drink available and a tent and tables for your comfort. 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM The next Art Impressions will be on July 26th, 2008.

The Land O' Lakes Airport is a beautiful airport tucked in the Northwoods on the Wisconsin-Michigan border. It avails its users to golf, sporting clays, lodging and shopping. Everything is within a short walk of the airport. The area is also filled with fantastic hunting and fishing areas.

The 4,000 by 75 foot paved, all weather runway, 14/32 is reinforced by our seasonal 2580 by 130 foot turf, crosswind runway, 5/23.

The airport has a new, 24 hour, self-service fuel system available to airport patrons year around.

The airport hosts its annual Airport Day the last Saturday in September and offers fun and excitement for the entire family. There are several other events planned for 2008 so check with the airport for details.
